About Me

I’m a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I support adults through a wide range of challenges, helping you understand yourself more deeply, break free from unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, you’re in the right place. Many people come to therapy unsure what’s contributing to their challenges, and that’s completely understandable.

I take a warm, flexible approach tailored to your needs, combining practical strategies with insight-oriented, evidence-based modalities. I draw from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, selecting the tools that best support your growth and healing. Therapy with me is a partnership rooted in trust, curiosity, and compassion.

As a first-generation Korean-Canadian, I understand how culture, identity, and family shape our experiences. I often work with individuals navigating cultural identity, bicultural dynamics, or intergenerational challenges, providing culturally sensitive care that helps you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

I completed my Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto, with clinical training across hospital, university, and community settings, including CAMH, Brampton Civic, North York General, University of Toronto, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, which gave me experience with a wide range of populations and clinical presentations.

Alongside clinical work, I’ve presented research on emotion processing, psychotherapy, and clinical interventions at national and international conferences, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new cuisines, travelling to new places, and cheering on the Toronto Raptors.
