Psychological Assessment

Psychological assessment
  • A process that provides a comprehensive understanding of your symptoms, patterns of thinking and behaviour, and possible diagnoses. It helps clarify concerns, identify contributing factors, and offer meaningful insight into your current experiences.

  • Psychological assessments can be helpful for adults who are looking for clarity about ongoing challenges in their daily lives, relationships, or work functioning. This may include difficulties with attention and focus, emotional regulation, anxiety, low mood, OCD-related concerns, or longstanding patterns that feel hard to understand or change.

They can also be useful if you’re seeking a clearer understanding of how you think, cope, and relate to others, or if you’ve been wondering whether a diagnosis such as ADHD, OCD, Social Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or another condition may apply.

An assessment may be right for you if you’re looking for clear, practical direction moving forward, including treatment recommendations and support with workplace or academic accommodations.

  • Each assessment is tailored to your needs and typically takes place over two to four sessions. It includes an initial consultation, standardized questionnaires, and a structured diagnostic interview to better understand your concerns.

Your results are then integrated into a comprehensive formulation, which is shared in a feedback session, along with a detailed written report. This includes discussion of findings, diagnoses where applicable, and personalized recommendations for treatment, supports, and next steps.

Individual Therapy

  • A collaborative process that provides a supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, helping you better understand yourself, work through challenges, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others.

Together, we work toward meaningful change, whether that means symptom reduction, improving relationships, or navigating life transitions. Therapy is tailored to your goals and moves at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Therapy can be helpful for adults who are experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, or difficulties with emotional regulation. It may also support those navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, or patterns that feel stuck or hard to change.

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Therapy can also be a space for self-exploration and personal growth. It’s for anyone looking to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

  • Typically, early sessions involve gathering background information to develop a comprehensive understanding of your experiences and concerns.

As therapy progresses, we explore patterns, build insight, and work toward practical, meaningful changes in your day-to-day life. You set the pace, and we regularly check in to ensure the work continues to feel helpful and aligned with your goals.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
